Faithweaver Friends

Faithweaver Friends is our Wednesday after-school program.  The program follows the Marshall Public Schools' calendar.  They meet only on the second, fourth, and fifth Wednesdays after the 3pm school dismissal.  There is no Faithweaver program when school is closed due to inclement weather.  The focus of the Faithweaver program is to encourage children to develop the most important thing in life:  a growing relationship with Jesus.   The Discovery Centers weave one theme each week through all their activities.  The children learn through games, crafts, Bible study, choir and more.   The children learn to count on God for all their needs.  They talk about being kind to one another and about the importance of saying, “I’m sorry.”  We talk about sharing, because God does not want us to be selfish.  The children learn about using the Bible to guide their choices, about being loyal to God, and following God’s laws.  The children also take par in healing with service projects, such as collecting items for the Festival of Sharing.
Faithweaver Friends includes music led by Pam Riggs.  We have children's choirs for five year olds through second grade & third through fifth grade.  They meet Wednesdays  as part of the Faithweaver after school program.  If you are interested in knowing more about the afterschool program, call Pastor Keith at the church office 886-9697 or if you would like to know more about the music opportunities call Pam Riggs 886-6306 for more information.
